Clerice’s Testimony
Clerice was born and raised in Saint Louis du Nord, Haiti. He was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and became a baptized believer at the age of 15.
After the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Clerice was forced to leave college and began seeking the Lord’s direction for his life. During this difficult season, God directed his steps to a nonprofit mission organization (NVM) just outside of Port-au-Prince, where he served faithfully for eleven years in a variety of roles.
During this time, God opened the door for him to attend Bible seminary, where he earned a degree in theology. As a committed follower of Jesus Christ, Clerice has a deep passion for studying Scripture and gaining a fuller understanding of the Gospel of Christ. His calling is to teach biblical principles in a way that equips people to strengthen their relationships with Jesus, their families, and their communities.
Emily’s Testimony
Emily was born and raised in the United States in a godly, Christ-centered home that nurtured her love for Jesus. She was baptized as a believer at the age of six and knew from a young age that God was calling her to serve in missions.
In 2009, she met Clerice while serving on a short-term mission trip in Haiti. They married in 2016 and have been blessed with four wonderful children — so far!
Before moving to Haiti, Emily earned a degree in Psychology from Liberty University. As a couple, Clerice and Emily served at NVM for five years as house parents in the children’s home, leading a youth program called Brigade, and supported many other areas of the ministry at NVM.
